UNISON PULS / Ellen Jerstad & Unge Viken
UNISON PULS is a colorful performance rave for babies and their adults. The concept of the performance is centered around the human heart – both its rhythmical sounds, its movements, and its symbolic value.
The tiny audience members are guided inside a huge heart-shaped tent, where three dancers are singing and moving through wires, holes, and each other. They transform into different fable-like animals, horses, and other creatures that introduce a world of beats and shifting impulses.
The music is made by composers Vilde Tuv and Sandra Kolstad, and it is a work commissioned by Unge VIken Theatre in Lillestrøm, Norway, in collaboration with director and choreographer Ellen Jerstad.
It premiered in Unge Viken Theatre, presented at Kloden Teater, and toured in and around Østlandet in Norway 2024.
