En Messe for Krop, Lyd & Landskab by choreographer and dramaturg Naya Moll is a site-specific work specially developed and created for Danish hospices – a specialized hospital/residence for terminal patients. The work consists of fourteen dance sequences structurally inspired by the poem Sommerfugledalen – et Requiem by Danish author Inger Christensen.
For an hour, the dance sequences weave in and out of each other, overlap and disappear into a mosaic of movements while the spectators – the patients and their relatives – observe the work from a distance. In wireless headphones, they listen to a piece of music composed by Karis Zidore.
Dancers: Karin Bergman, Marlene Bonnesen, Emilie Gregersen, Amalia Kasakove & Anna Lea Ourø Jensen. Extended cast with Antoinette Helbing and Katrin Van de Velden.
